Wood-Burning Fireplaces in Lubbock & West Texas
Some people want the real thing: the crackle, the smell of oak, and a fire you build yourself. Ford Fireplaces has been installing indoor wood-burning fireplaces in homes across Lubbock, Wolfforth, West Texas and Eastern New Mexico since 2007, from compact fireboxes for a den to large fireplaces built for great rooms.
Large Wood-Burning Fireplaces
For high ceilings and big living spaces, a large firebox makes the fireplace the centerpiece of the room. We install the Biltmore in 42" and 50", along with the Ashland 42", Cottagewood 42" and DSR42.
Compact Fireboxes and Masonry
Not every room needs a giant fireplace. Compact units like the Royalton (36" and 42") and the BE36 are sized for living rooms, dens and bedrooms. For custom builds that call for a true built-in-place look, we also install FireRock masonry fireplace systems.
Wood, Gas or Both?
Many of our customers want a wood-burning fireplace with the option of gas. A gas log set installs right in the firebox and lights with a switch or remote. We install log sets in charred oak, rustic oak and post oak, and modern options like cannonballs. It’s also the simplest way to convert an existing wood-burner to gas.
