Direct Vent Gas Fireplaces in Lubbock & West Texas
Want real flame and real heat without hauling wood? A direct vent gas fireplace lights with a switch or remote and burns clean behind sealed glass. It’s one of the most popular fireplaces we install. Ford Fireplaces has been installing direct vent fireplaces in homes across Lubbock, Wolfforth, West Texas and Eastern New Mexico since 2007.
How a Direct Vent Fireplace Works
A direct vent fireplace pulls outside air in for combustion and sends exhaust back out through a single pipe in the wall or roof. Because the firebox is sealed, room air stays in the room and the heat goes where you want it. You don’t need a traditional chimney, which gives you and your builder a lot more freedom on placement.
New Construction and Remodels
Building a custom home in Lubbock or Wolfforth? Bring us in early. We work alongside the region’s custom home builders to plan the fireplace, the venting and the framing before the walls go up, so there are no surprises later. If you’re remodeling or converting an old wood-burner, we’ll measure your existing opening and recommend the insert or unit that fits.
Why Homeowners Call Ford
We’re a family-owned business that’s been serving West Texas and Eastern New Mexico since 2007. We come to your home, measure the space and talk through how you’ll use the fireplace before we recommend anything. Then our own team handles the install.
